Amazing sound

Finally decided on this after listening to the V35 and 235 system.Large living room's i would go with the V35 smallish room the 235 sounds excellent and leaves the 321 system for dust 100% improvement from the gemstone speakers.Sound is excellent in both music and 5.1 surround movies with the Adaptiq and speakers giving a surprisingly good surround feel from movie soundtracks.Setup is of course easy.Suprisingly Unify remote worked with the following without any issuesApple TVMac MiniABS Satellite boxPS3 (Use the harmony logitech adaptor)Samsung TV.Single remote works a treat.Don't be put off by only dual speakers they are amazing. Wife factor is good also no wires no clutter and only 2 speakers.

Great system but you pay for it

I intended to purchase a 5.1 system, specifically the Bose® Lifestyle® V35 home entertainment system--Black, but was not excited about having to run wires to my rear speakers. I live in a condo and due to the shape of the room and furniture layout the wireless option did not work due to power supply issues. I was going to have to fish the wires through the walls. I went to the Bose outlet to see what other options I might have and the salesman showed me this system. All I can say is WOW.The 2.1 speaker system really fills the room with sound and the Adaptiq works well and tunes the system to your room. The Gemstone speakers do a great job of simulating rear speakers for surround effects. The unify setup and remote work very well. It will control all of my components. I still use a Logitech Harmony 880 Advanced Universal Remote Control because I like the one button control and the automatic changes in the system when you want to switch from Cable to Bluray to radio, etc. I do still have to use the Bose remote to change radio stations as this system has no display and the ONLY place you see the radio station is on the display on the remote. I love the way you control your Ipod on the TV screen with the remote for the system. You can even play movies from your Ipod although the quality leaves something to be desired.Overall, I am very pleased and highly recommend if you can get over the price. I have not seen any other 2.1 system whose sound even comes close, and I looked at many before buying this one.Setup was a snap, the remote setup was even relatively easy compared to normal universal remote setups, excluding the Logitech lines of remotes (they really make it easy).

Bought this instead of 3-2-1 because this unit has many inputs to connect vcr, dvd, wii, tv audio, and ipod.Has several HDMI conncections so can even connect computer. I havae used my other bose system in another part of the house for 12 years and feel like the cost averages out. Company has always been there with solution to problems. Disappointed that I could not play cd's but unit came with dock and connection for ipod . I just had to update my life and get an ipod and convert all my cd collection. Great unit for moving forward.
