Decent Unit, but still needs work

The system was pretty easy to set up thanks to the color coded wires and step-by-step setup on the screen. The sound was ok, about what you'd expect from a HTIB.My biggest complaints regarding the product were that it supports various file types via DLNA, but I believe they require a computer running their software in order for it to work properly. I run a NAS that has a media server built into it and didn't want run a computer with software just to watch my movies. I was able to play around with it and get .mkv files to work without any software, but couldn't get .mp4 files to work. I didn't try installing the software to see if .mp4 files would work.My other complaint regarding the device is that I couldn't find a way to switch to a source directly. I kept having to scroll through the inputs (even if nothing was attached). So anytime I wanted to go from HDMI to Bluetooth, I had to scroll through every source until I got to Bluetooth. If I passed it, I had to go through them all again.Navigating through my files on my NAS (even though it couldn't play them) was decently fast, though I wish there was a way to change the arrangement of the files. It lists them 2 rows of large icons that you have to scroll to the right through. Would be nice if you could change to a list mode and scroll down viewing the entire file name.This is likely to be a good unit if you just want something quick and easy to get sound better than TV speakers. You'll likely want to use it in a smaller room since the wires to the speakers are proprietary and only have one length. If you need more length, you'll need to splice the end of the wire together to some 3rd party wire of the same gauge. You'll also need a spot to plug in the wireless receiver for the rear speakers, which you have to use since the main device doesn't include ports for the rear speakers.
