KEF Wireless System is an ideal add-on for any existing rear surround sound speaker set-up (regardless of the brand) and can also be used for stereo speakers in a hi-fi system where hiding cables is an inconvenience, especially when the amplifier is some distance from the speakers. This system is compatible with the full range of KEF speakers but also can be used with most other brands. Users can locate the speakers virtually anywhere they want to in the room whilst still receiving remarkable CD quality sound with exceptional clarity and remarkable lack of extraneous interference. Simply connect a receiver to each speaker and partner the transmitter with your amplifier to make wires across your floor a thing of the past. You then also have the option of relocating your speakers when necessary, such as hiding them safely away during parties, because you don't have to maintain a "line of sight" between transmitter and speakers. System includes 1 transmitter and 2 receivers to be hooked up to your rear channel speakers. CD quality audio transmission achieved with a revolutionary 2.4GHz radio frequency HFADPCM (Hi-Fidelity Adaptive Differential Pulse Code Modulation) wireless link that ensures real time audio delivery with no mutes, audio dropouts or loss of bonding. Flawless performance for KEF

I purchased this KEF UWireless set of 2 receivers and one transmitter to eliminate dangerous and inconvenient wire runs to rear speakers AND to gain the ability to place rear speakers in their proper positions for surround sound ... no more wires running under rugs and no more speakers placed to the side of the listeners rather than behind the listeners. System set up is as easy as turning the units on.This KEF system delivers very good audio quality to my ears and should complement most AV audio setups for rear speakers.From my experience with this system, I find that there is NO interference from or with other electronics in my home: NO interference to or from wireless LAN/computers, NO interference to or from cordless phones, cell phones, walkie-talkies, wireless intercoms, etc. SOME reviewers have complained that there are no switches on the KEF receivers so that you must pull out the plugs for the receivers to turn them off. This is true BUT,I found some very small, cheap switch units that plug into AC receptacles ... the KEF receiver plugs into that switch unit such that the KEF receivers can be easily switched on or off without ever unplugging them. You easily can determine that the switch is on or off since it glows when on. For many, the question might be: "Is this KEF wireless system worth the money?" That depends on how important it is for you to get things exactly as you would like them in your own home environment. Safety, convenience and performance considerations factor into your decision to purchase this admittedly expensive wireless system. What I CAN say is that once I actually got to put those rear speakers exactly where they belong, they put a smile on my face. That's worth it to me.

I was skeptical at first, but am glad I purchased anyway. The KEF wireless sys is connected to a Denon AVR 2113CI receiver and 2 rear JBL ES20 speakers. I didn't want to run speaker cables to these rear speakers, and we needed flexibility to move these rear speakers around while entertaining in our living room. The KEF sys mates perfectly to the JBL speakers in the back. No intermittent drop offs; worked perfectly right out of the box. The Denon receiver automates balancing all home speaker volumes using Audyssey, a process that worked flawlessly despite the wireless hookup. Absolutely no interference/interruption from cell phone, laptop, subwoofer and microwave oven wireless signals all throughout our house. The KEF sys works really well thus far. Its not cheap, but in this case you get what you pay for.

It works great no hiss, no distortion and i can't perceive any signal loss so far. I do wish the connectors on the back were more like the ones on the back of the KEF speakers. They do feel a bit flimsy and lacking in quality. That and the awful manual are my only knocks. It really thrives in a wireless hostile environment. Baby monitors, microwaves, iPads, xboxes, iphones......all of it on all the time it seems, and the signal just keeps coming through clear and sweet and warm as through copper. If you don't want to run a cable from where most the stuff is to where just a few things are, this is a super way to do it. It ain't cheap. But it really really works.
