Excellent Speaker

This is an excellent speaker for when you have a smaller area for your entertainment system. The sound on the speaker is outstanding. Everything sounds very crisp and clear. Also, the speaker itself has a great build quality, it doesn't feel cheap at all. The only thing that it lacks is bass. When you play music, you will really start to notice it. That can easily be fixed though by getting a separate subwoofer. Other than that, I think it's a great speaker and would highly recommend you consider purchasing it.

Excellent sound & build

I wasn't quite sure what to make of this speaker when it arrived. I have no experience with 'speaker bars' as my home theater system consists of traditional front speakers, center channel, and four rear speakers.The speaker arived in excellent condition. The styrofoam inserts kept everything secure and undamaged. Enclosed were the instructions, a wall mounting bracket, and a bracket for placing the speaker on a shelf.My inital thought was "damn, this thing is a beast". I could probably battle Orcs in the front yard with this speaker bar. The build quality is top notch. Very tight joints, excellent black finish, and precise speaker wire hook-ups.I chose to place the speaker on my home theater stand on the top shelf directly in front of the TV. My TV is a 46" Sony Bravia LCD with a Sony 7.1 home theater system.To test the speaker bar I used my new BluRay disc of Transformers 2. Initially the sound was low and sounded "off". Then I remembered to recalibrate the Sony audio since I added different speakers. After a quick calibration I fired up Transformers 2.My initial reaction was "WOW". The front sound comes directly from the front of the TV as sound should. I didn't realize that having front speakers off to the sides of the TV would make so much difference.The sound was crisp, clear, and no distortion. I cranked the audio up to level 40 during the best Decepticon battle. The speaker bar response was spot-on. The sounds were as the movie directors intended. I didn't get any wierd sounds from the side speakers like I did with my old front speakers. I was able to enjoy the Transformers even more than my initial viewing. For a second test I tuned into a show on ScienceHD. Again, the sounds were spot-on and projected from where they should, the front of the TV. Very nice since this was a normal cable HD program.I'm quite happy with my new speaker bar. I'm kicking myself for not embracing this technology earlier. For those of you looking for excellent sound reproduction, expecially during a raging Decepticon battle, look no further. This Pinnacle speaker bar is well worth the money. It also has a 10 year warranty, which is just icing on the cake.

This sound bar is pretty darn impressive. Right out of the box the build quality is really impressive. The manufacturing is flawless from materials, build, finish, etc. The bar comes with a couple ways of setting up. If you want it to sit on a shelf/stand it comes with a shim that adheres to the bottom of the bar to get a good angle for the speakers. For wall hanging there are is a bracket that mounts to the wall that the sound bar hangs off of. Keep in mind the speaker wires will hang down so plan on running through wall or finding a way to hide.So, I hooked this up to my 5.1 home theater system on my 65" TV that normally runs with a Klipsch speaker system. I was really impressed with the sound, especially the center channel. The sound was really crisp and tight. I ran both movies and PS3 video games and both performed very well. The one thing though is that as I mentioned my TV is 65" meaning from side to side over 70" across. The bar is about 38" wide which is kind of middle of screen. The Amazon page states two different descriptions. In the Technical Details it states for TVs 42" or more and in the Product Description it states for TVs 35" or more. Neither technically wrong but somewhat odd. I think that ideally this would be best for TVs between 32" and 46" to optimize the sound spacing of the left and right speakers. Besides that, this sound bar is really quite impressive and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a this sort of home theater option.Great design. Unsurpassed build quality. Superb sound. Easy setup.
