Sounds great; subwoofer trim was loose

Would have given it five stars if it had arrived in flawless condition. Other than the chrome trim on top half of subwoofer being loose to the point of falling off, no complaints. I will glue it down if it gets to be a problem. The sound is spectacular.

I had received the Vizio VHT510 Home Theater System as a Christmas gift. I opened the box and all the items had fingerprints and smudges all over. It's a refurb so I could expect small dings or scratches but this was just sloppy. A simple wipe cleaned them off but I shouldn't have had to do that out of the box. I picked up the Sub Woofer and something was clunking around in it. Not a good start. I hooked everything up exactly as shown in the manual. I noticed the remote control came with a dead battery and it is one of the coin shaped batteries that are very inconvenient. Both the sound bar and the Sub Woofer power on. Sound comes out of the sound bar but NOT from Sub Woofer or the two satellite speakers connected to sub woofer. They are supposed to communicate wireless but there is an indicator light on both that flashes when the two are NOT "paired". They are supposed to be paired out of the box but there are several troubleshooting options available in the manual & online to pair the two devices. I followed all of them with no success. I then went through with a Vizio technician all possible steps and options also with no success. He suggested returning it which is what I did.From just the sound that came out of the sound bar it seems like a decent system but in my opinion there should be an option to connect everything with wires, since from what I've personally experienced and read online the wireless system is flawed. Again this was a refurb so I am putting the blame on whoever did the refurbishing (Avivatek, Inc.) and the company (Dealville) who sold it in the poor condition it was in. I would buy this but as a new product.

Sounds Perfect! Love it.

I bought 47" VIZIO HD/3D Smart TV. So I decided to buy this sound system. Even though this one is refurbished by factory, but it works just like new. Sounds perfect. set up very easy and I love the wireless subwoofer, which can be put any corner of the room. I can listen it all day. With this price level, that is the best sound sytem you will ever get!
