This is the type of power used in nightclubs and on large stages. This is real power meant to reproduce a thunderous sound! The Dual 10 Band Equalizer with illuminating LEDS on each slider will give you the ability to tweak your overall sound for both left and right channels. This is a great tool to use when first conditioning your room or while maintaining different frequencies depending on the genre of music you are playing. Adjust your frequencies to your desire and listen to your music the way it was meant to be heard! The inputs consist of 3 RCA connections. This will allow you to connect such devices as a CD Player, DVD Player audio, or cassette deck. An additional iPod / MP3 connection is also included via cable. Connect your iPhone or iPod by using the MP3 input and play your songs through this system! Included is a built in FM manual tuner…tired of your CD collection? Hit the tuner control and listen to your favorite radio station! It performs as expected

After reading such negative reviews, I was hesitant to order this item. But I figured with such a great price and feature set I would take a chance.I am very glad that I did. For the money, you really can't beat it. Of course it's not as good sound quality as a much more expensive amplifier. So don't buy this expecting phenomenal quality at a bargain price.However, it works as advertised. The "hum" others are talking about? I didn't experience it. Maybe they aren't taking care with the routing of their speaker/power/audio cables? It puts out plenty of volume with little distortion. I have it driving four speakers and am very pleased with the results. For the money, it can't be beat and I'd buy another one of these (or another product by the same manufacturer).The amp is solidly built in a metal case. The knobs and buttons are all solid and don't wobble or otherwise appear loose or prone to breaking. The rear audio and speaker connections are solid. The remote does more things than the front panel allows for (like the "Loud" feature and controlling the cooling fan), so plan on holding onto the remote.It comes with the power cable and antennas for AM and FM. Like any other amp it doesn't come with speaker or audio cables.Power is controlled through a front on/off button. It does not have a standby or remotely controllable power off mode. Which is fine for my purposes, but could be problematic if you're hoping to incorporate it into a remotely controlled system.The product description doesn't make it abundantly clear, but this amp has A and B speaker outputs for left and right which can be driven separately or together. It also has a subwoofer pre-amp output, and amplifier outputs for a center channel and two surround speakers. Front panel headphone jack, usb connection, memory card slot and 1/8" stereo input (from an MP3 player or similar). It also has two 1/4" microphone inputs on the front panel. The LED display is a nice feature and gives you the "cool" factor, but since you can only control bass, treble and "loud", it's not very practical. There are no full equalizer controls. Still, I like the display.There are level controls for each of the microphones as well as the music input so you can mix the three sources together to get things like background music to speaking, karaoke, etc.In summary: you get a lot for the money. It won't compete with high end components, but it is as good as you could hope for in this price range, and I did not experience the humming or ground loops that others complained of.

Try it yourself

I was hesitant to buy this after the reviews I read. Some said it had a humming sound to it,others said its low. This product is great for its price you cant beat having an equalizer can you? 5 stars, sometimes you just have to go with your gut; I did and Im happy I decided to.

Not so impressed

The unit has a humming sound when it is powered on.The Line out frequency is very low.The manual tuner station frequency drops sometimes.I am pretty sure Technical Pro can do better.
