MEETS MY NEEDS COMPLETELY

I tried all of the functions on the unit and was satisfied completely. I don't believe the 150 watt rms or the 300 watt peak claims because the rating on the power cube is 18vdc x 2.5 amps = 45 watts input power. The volume tops out @ 42 units and is plenty loud enough. The 3D function added great depth to the audio content. It can't really compete with a full blown 5.1 or 7.1 discrete speaker system but neither can most soundbars. This sounds much better than my tv speakers alone. The bluetooth function performed perfectly wth my IPOD TOUCH 4G but I did have to reconnect each time I left the bluetooth function. The woofer performed well enough for me. Bass and treble are adjustable on the remote. The fm radio function worked well too. I would buy the unit again if needed.UPDATE: Display was so bright in my bedroom that I put a piece of auto window tint film over it. That dimmed it enough and I can still read the display just fine.

This speaker is larger than most "soundbars". It really needs a shelf on your tv stand in order to work. That being said it puts out a TON of sound. So I guess bigger is better in this case! The woofer on top is strong but clean and the bass is not distorted. I feel like I could have a party and this would be enough to blast any type of tunes and I can play them via bluetooth! Also, movies sound more like a theater rather than the puny ones on my flat screen. So go big or go home!
