The wireless signal is incredibly weak
By Savian
I had a pair of the Klipsch 2.1 speakers for nearly 10 years before they died so I am a huge fan of these speakers. Even with the rage I am currently typing this review through I will say that the sound of the wireless version is just as impressive. HOWEVER...The strength of the wireless signal is utterly pathetic. The stated range of 30 feet should have been a clue but, even though I bought these speakers with no intention of trying to listen to them from outside my living room (no more than 15 feet from the sub), I have had nonstop problems with getting and keeping a stable signal. My recliner is literally 10 feet from the sub, which sits in a cabinet at the bottom of my computer desk. The signal skips and dies, even with the cabinet door open. The signal light on the USB blinks and dies, is solid, then dies again. I am so sick and pissed off that I am having trouble finding the words to finish this review.Long story short, get the wired version. And Klipsch team: couldn't you have done better than this?

Love them!
By C. labarre
I had ordered a set of Logitech speakers initially which cost about 150 bucks. I received them from amazon but had to return them because they didn't work...not a surprise as i have had issues with Logitech in the past. It was reasonably priced so i thought i would try it. I'm glad they were faulty, because i found this set which is wireless. love that aspect of it. Not totally wireless as the speakers connect to the subwoofer and then that plugs into the outlet. But at least i can play stuff on my laptop and move it around freely w/o wires attached. The sound quality is also excellent, and i can play these LOUD. I don't even have the volume or base halfway and its loud.I'm very happy with my purchase and I would recommend.08/26/1971: I still have these speakers and LOVE them, however, i just bought a new laptop with a blu ray player. the blu ray player does not work with these speakers. I guess it's something about the HD sound it has an issue traveling wirelessly? at least that is what the laptop folkds surmised. Had i known that i would not have bought the blu ray player and opted for just dvd. i will continue to research but for now as far as i know they don't work with blu ray.

Klipsch Wireless Computer Speakers Great Sound
By John G. Tile
Overall, I am happy with this purchase. The Klipsch speakers have great sound and, in my house, the range covered my entire 2 story house. The only issues I have that kept me from giving it a 5 star review are 2 items; the power plug and power switch. The power plug doesn't seem very secure when plugged in to the base unit (subwoofer). You can slightly move the unit and it can interrupt power. Also, the power switch being on the back of the subwoofer is really inconvenient....it should be on the one speaker that has the volume and subwoofer control. But, these are tolerable. Love the sound and versatility/range of the wireless.
