5Big sound for a small price
By John McKenna
I just picked this up today and had it running on my TV in minutes. Very simple set up and great sound for half of what you would expect to pay for a Sound Bar with Subwoofer. Great for someone that is looking for an upgrade to the sound. Vizio is the best at giving premium product at moderate pricing!

4Nice for small TV or overkill for a computer
By S. QUINN
I bought this soundbar to use as my PC sound system. My PC is in the bedroom and is occationally used for watching movies. The sound quality isn't going to satisfy an audiophile but it better than most PC speaker fare and would be a great addtion to a smaller (32" or so) LCD TV. The sub woofer is lacking in power but i didn't expect it to perform like a proper 10"+ sub with it's 5.25" woofer. This having been said it isn't bad by any means. It has been great for movies and music is a mixed bag. Over-all it is good. I'd be a lot happier if it had an optical input.Pros:Inexpensive ($100+ cheaper than the 5.1 version)Loud enough for PC or TV useSmaller size that the 40" bar on the 5.1 setupIncludes sub for not much more money than the soundbar alone.Elaborite sound system for a PC.Cons:2 inputs (RCA and 3.5 mm jack)No optical inputSub should be larger / more powerful.Propretory plug on the Sub output making using your own sub a custom affair. If you don't want to go with the 5.1 setup, this is not a bad option. I will probably pick up the 5.1 kit with the wireless sub for my livingroom TV for both the 5.1 surround and the bigger sub.

4Cool Speakers, broken remote
By rawfive
I bought these as a substitute for my tv speakers. I did not have high expectations as this setup was fairly cheap, and it is not hard to improve over stock tv speakers. As far as sound quality goes, this thing gets the job done. My only gripe is that the remote seems to have a 'mind of it's own'. Rewind back to my third night with this system. It is 2:30 am and a few buddies and are in the middle of a heated bf3 match. I went to turn the volume down using the remote (it was slightly too loud, I didn't want to catch any wife aggro. Instead of simply lowering the volume, the remote instead turns the volume to ALL THE WAY UP. At 2:30 am. The remote has done this 5 times since that incident, all of which leave me scrambling across the coffee table to pull out the audio cables before it gets too loud.My 2 cents would be to get the sub settings configured using the remote (this is the only way to adjust those settings) then just put it in a drawer, which happens to be the fate of my remote. All the rest of the functionality of the unit can be accessed using the buttons on top of the sound bar.All that being said, this was worth 150 dollars, and matches my vizio tv perfectly. I feel that I did indeed get what I paid for.
