It features a contemporary design and is a stylish addition to any home. This 600 watt, 6-piece system includes one (300W) powered subwoofer and five (60W) satellite speakers as well as cables and instructions needed to "Plug and Play" any audio source with a RCA audio output. Use it for your home theater system, personal computer or laptop, gaming system, iPod, iPhone, MP3 player, or other audio devices. The powered subwoofer features front, bass, and volume functions which can be controlled directly from the front of the subwoofer. It utilizes a digitally tuned wooden enclosure for increased bass response. The full-range satellite speakers feature magnetic shielding for use near televisions and computer monitors.

Pleasant surprise

They arrived here very fast, had nice packaging, and the speakers themselves are rather small (which is nice so they can be put in tight spots). The overall sound is very appealing as well! The sub woofer isn't as powerful as others that I have used, but it too is very small so it wasn't unexpected. The speakers have a stylish look to them and have crisp, clear, and very clean sounds for gaming, music, and movies. The setup wasn't bad but could be a bit more clear (specifically if you want these for a computer) however the speakers will work for just about any system or device you want to use them for... so it also was somewhat expected to not be the easiest setup in the world. The wires seem a little thin and might not block all outside interference with the sound (mine will occasionally make a noise the sounds somewhat like the wind blowing outside of your car). Other than that, these are wonderful speakers. I got them for just under $90.00 so it really was a steal. Not too sure I'd pay over $200.00 for... and that also means that these aren't the BEST home theater speakers either. However, for the money, they are very much so worth it in my opinion. Bang for your $$$.*Update*After further use (close to three months now) These speakers are still true to what i said earlier... however I did get these on sale for just shy of $90.00 and while there are an immense amount of feature to them such as multiple inputs, standby/mute/on, sub woofer increase/decrease,center increase/decrease, and ect... I'm not sure that they are worth a full $300... I can say that for their size though... I haven't heard better quality. They really do pack one hell of a punch for being so small and light. The wind-like noise is also gone now that they've been broken in.Conclusion:For $300 I am not very sure that these things can meet one's expectations... that isn't exactly a small purchase you are making. As I said, I got mine on a MAJOR sale, HOWEVER, If you are working with very little space and need something that can still give you a nice cluster of quality sounds this might be what you're looking for. If these ever go down in price (around $200 or less) these would be perfect speakers.If I had bought these at the original price I would've given them a 3.5/5 but since I didn't... 5/5! =]They have been surprisingly amazing speakers.

So far... excellent (but not too powerful)

I have used this set a few times and the sound quality is remarkable. A few extra features help, specially the USB port. Wish it has at least a small display to view the playing song. But for the money, I don't think you are getting anything better.A minor set back, is that this set is not too powerful, but the output is reasonable, and the quality is outstanding...

Spend the same amount & purchase a "True home theater" a waste of money - good for bookshelf music only.
