Klipsch Quintet 5.0 Home Theater Speaker System (Black)
Product Description
When you're the best selling surround sound system of all time, performance means everything, and the fifth generation of the Klipsch Quintet doesn't disappoint. These home theater speakers utilize Tractrix horn technology and lightweight Aluminum drivers for crisp, clear and uncompromising sound quality. The Quintet's woofers have been redesigned for maximum bass output that blends seamlessly into the sound of your favorite movies, TV shows and video games. Every piece of the Quintet system comes housed in our AcoustaComp cabinets, ensuring a solid foundation to channel flawless sound. AcoustiComp is a material used extensively in both Professional Cinema and Music speakers. It is not only durable, it is so solid that cabinet resonance is never an issue. The Linear Travel Suspension tweeters in Quintet are designed for reduced high-frequency distortion while the long-throw woofers increase bass output for a perfect blend to the subwoofer you add to the system. Those drivers are complimented by an "audiophile" quality crossover network which mates those two drivers perfectly. The low-profile design of both the Quintet satellites and center channel speaker match today's thinner and more aesthetic TV's whether stand or table placed or mounted on the wall (brackets not included).

Great Speakers, but dissapointed with Klipsch
By Corey Fisher
**UPDATE** 02/03/2013I felt it was a bit biased to rate this item two stars because of my bad experience with Klipsch so I revised my review to reflect the product accurately.**5 STARS** - Klipsch Quintet 5.0 SeriesThese speaker are the best you can buy for the price, period. Right now for under $300 a set on Amazon, you can buy two of these sets for the price of their own original MSRP which is an absolute steel at this price. Let me rephrase this for people who are looking at purchasing a set right now. THERE ARE NO BETTER SPEAKERS for the price. We bought two of these sets for 9.1 set with a Pioneer Elite SC-68 Receiver. We have fronts, sides, rears and front height speakers paired with a Klipsch SW-350 Subwoofer and are currently witnessing "Audiophile" sound. This is likely due to the accuracy of these speakers and paired with a perfectly calibrated sound stage with one of the best receiver's you can get, which is the Pioneer Elite Series. The surround sound that these emit are total chaos, you hear thing's you've never heard before and they can get LOUD.**1 STAR** - Klipsch Customer ServiceKlipsch, when talking to a few of your representative, I was completely dissatisfied with how they talked down to me. I hate to tell you, but I know 5 times as much more then your front line reps. First no one even answered my sales or support inquiry (right off the bat, you lost business due to slow response time and un-knowledgeable staff). I inquired on how I could buy 2 pairs of additional Speakers for a 9.1 sound stage and was basically laughed at like I'm some idiot (I'm a hifi pro-audio enthusiast). Unfortunately, I have a small house and having these speakers, but in a 7.1 or 9.1 configuration matters for me, and my neighbors, who have the same set we do and live in a similarly sized home. I built the sound stage before my house was completed and spent hours calibrating the audio. PEOPLE WANT ADDITIONAL SPEAKERS Klipsch, acknowledge this and sell these speakers as separates. I refused to give your company until this was resolved. Fortunately, Amazon lowered the price of this set $274, which means I could buy two for the price of one basically so instead of waiting and messing around while you guys take your time to release additional separates (like the last two generations of Quintet's), I just went and bought two sets and discarded the 2nd center channel. Either way, you guys got to get it together, people care about your professional audio products, but they will care less when they get treated like retards when they are trying to give your company money. I'll stop raving about your products if this ever happens again. I really want to enjoy/ like your company, but your guys are makign it very difficult for me to do so.Overall, great speakers - unbeatable for the price, but beware - customer service from Klipsch - might make you think twice and leaves a lot to be desired. This wasn't my first bad experience with Klipsch (that's why one-star) , but you can catch that on my other Klipsch reviews.

These speakers sound great. I have them in a home theater with a Denon AV receiver. Sound clear and clean.
